Dr. Natasha Vita-More is an internationally known speaker on the future of humanity. She advocates technological enhancement and received celebrity status by innovating the first future human body for superlongevity. Natasha has appeared in over twenty-four televised documentaries and has published in numerous academic, scientific, and design journals. Called an “early adapter of revolutionary changes” (Wired magazine) and a “role model for superlongevity”, her conceptual whole body prototype received international recognition. While her media design and artistic works have been honored at Women in Video, the Moscow Film Festival, her most recent scientific research has been a breakthrough within the field of cryonics.
Natasha has been an invited speaker on human enhancement at the International SportAccord Convention for Olympic and non-Olympic sports to talk about what she envisions as a Super Olympics, and on radical life extension at the worlds aging population the TOPOS Conference in Tokyo where she introduced the concept of the Regenerative Generation.
Currently a professor at the University of Advancing Technology, she has lectured at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Virginia Commonwealth, Aalto (Finland), and Polytechnic (Hong Kong) universities. She is Chair of Humanity+, a Fellow of the Institute of Ethics and Emerging Technologies, and on the Board of the TNC. She is co-editor and author of The Transhumanist Reader: Classical and Contemporary Essays on the Science, Technology, and Philosophy of the Human Future, is published by Wiley-Blackwell.
