Jose Luis Cordeiro is fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, chair of the Venezuela Node of The Millennium Project, founding faculty and energy advisor at Singularity University in NASA,Silicon Valley, founder of the World Future Society’s Venezuela Chapter, co-founder of the Ibero-American Transhumanist Association, and former director of the Club of Rome (Venezuela Chapter), the World Transhumanist Association (Humanity+) and the Extropy Institute. He is also invited faculty at the Institute of Developing Economies IDE JETRO in Tokyo, Japan, and at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in Russia.
Jose Luis Cordeiro studied engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, economics at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, management at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and science at Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela. He has published more than 10 books in 5 languages and appeared in programs with CNN, Discovery Channel and the History Channel, among many other international media interviews. He received the 2016 Spanish Health Award for promoting longevity and lifespan extension.
