Kiyotaka Oshiyama is an animation director, animator, character designer, and CEO of Studio Durian. He is recognized in the Japanese animation industry as a versatile creator with excellent drawing skills and delicate emotional expression.
Oshiyama began his career at the Japanese animation studio XEBEC, founded in 1995, where he served as animation director for the TV anime "Denn? Coil." Later, as a freelancer, he worked as animation director for "Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos" and handled character design and animation direction for Netflix"s "Devilman Crybaby," showcasing outstanding visual quality.
