Marshall Kay is an RFID specialist and retail strategist. He is particularly well known for his work validating and articulating the business case for item-level RFID, not only in apparel and footwear, but also in categories like consumer electronics, books and media, cosmetics and luxury goods. Prior to launching this practice Marshall led the North American RFID practice of global management consulting firm Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA). He has helped retailers and suppliers in North America, Europe and Asia put RFID to profitable use. A popular speaker, Marshall is a repeat contributor to RFID Journal and has been interviewed by Fortune, STORES, Apparel Magazine and Women’s Wear Daily for his perspectives on RFID and collaborative commerce. He has been a panelist at the National Retail Federation’s annual “Big Show” and at the UBS Global Consumer & Retail Conference for investor clients. Marshall holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Business School.
