Grant Sanderson is the creator of the YouTube channel 3blue1brown, with over 3 million subscribers.  The channel focuses on making higher-level mathematics approachable, and also covers adjacent topics such as neural networks and quantum physics.  


Sanderson studied mathematics and computer science at Stanford and created educational videos and articles for Khan Academy as part of their content fellowship program.  He also wrote the open-source pytho n library Manim used to create mathematical visualizations.

 

Recently he"s been a lecturer at MIT, and in the past has collaborated with numerous education and outreach organizations including Quanta, Udacity, Manning, and Numberphile.
