Willy Kuo is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder of Linker Vision, a global AI leader backed by NVIDIA. A technology expert with academic backgrounds in mathematics and computer science, he has more than 15 years of experience in AI, large-scale computer vision, and software architecture. He currently leads the company’s R&D, product development, and technology strategy.
Linker Vision develops vision AI and Physical AI technologies that enable AI to perceive and understand the real world through cameras, sensors, and other sources of real-world data. The company is developing a data-centric AI platform that combines 5G AIoT, Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and Agentic AI. Through these technologies, Linker Vision delivers AI solutions that recognize and analyze real-world situations in real time and connect insights to decision-making and response, driving digital transformation across a wide range of industries, including smart cities, public safety, transportation, manufacturing, and autonomous driving.
In particular, Kuo successfully implemented an integrated control system for Kaohsiung’s large-scale smart city AI initiative, combining NVIDIA Omniverse-based 3D digital twins with vision AI technologies. The system established a foundation for visualizing, analyzing, and simulating real-world urban conditions, including transportation and public safety, within a digital environment.
More recently, he unveiled GenAI Observ, a next-generation platform for Sovereign AI, at CES 2025. Through his work, Kuo is at the forefront of global technological innovation in Physical AI and vision AI, advancing AI beyond digital environments to enable it to understand and respond to real-world cities and industrial environments.
