Dan Goods is a graphic designer and visual strategist who graduated as valedictorian from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Currently, he works as a visual strategist of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and leads an extraordinary team of creatives called The Studio. They help communication between NASA’s employees who are working at different fields by providing visual support through artworks, and transform complex concepts of NASA’s projects into meaningful stories that can be universally understood. For example, by designing graphic poster, they represent newly discovered planet as a travel spot.
He was recently honored with NASA’s Exceptional Public Service Award. Also, he founded The Museum of Awe with his fellow visual strategist David Delgado. Installations of The Museum of Awe invite viewers to marvel in the world around them. Each installation draw attention to the everyday parts of life which may have been overlooked. They intend to ignite curiosity and remind us to treasure the gift of being alive.
He is currently working with the Museum of the Future in Dubai, and trying to imagine how to simulate the feeling of being in a room singing with a million other people.
